Amer Fort is located on the row of Aravali hill. It is 11 kms away from Jaipur city. The fort is an agglomeration of red sand stones and other raw materials, constructed on Mughal and Hindu architectural style. The fort has onerous exterior, which offered a strong support and protection against invasions and a tempting innards, inviting flurry of admirers. The interiors have carvings of rare and precious stones and mirrors. The Amber fort faces Maota Lake in the front. The Amber fort is seven centuries old and its past is replete with legendary events. Later, we will drive past Jal Mahal, a sand coloured stone wall built on the Man Sagar Lake.
