A tourism tour of about 30-40 minutes around the old village, al Aqr, in Nizwa. The tour explores the city's heritage village, historical ruins, old irrigation system and architectural mud houses. The tour is by echo carts, educational, interactive and entertaining.
The tour guide will explain some architectural information about the mud houses


The tour is like passing through open museums while seated, open cart and being close to the real old life of Oman.

    Bypassing at Nizwa fort without entry. Visitors will see Nizwa fort from outside. Some information will be presented about the fort and the surrounding building

  • Nizwa

    20 minsAdmission Ticket Free
    Al Aqur village in Nizwa, the visitor will be driven through this ancient village and see old mud houses, renovated buildings, Al Aqur wall and the irrigation channels. Each land mark will be breifly explained by the guide. Short video will be presented at the Tanoor location. Visitors can take pictures.

  • Nizwa Souq（通過）

    Admission Ticket Free
    - Starting from Nizwa Fort and see the entrance of the fort - Pass by through the old village, Al Aqr - Stop at the heritage old houses and explain about the Omani architecture - Shawathna Mosque, pass by, a 1000 years old mosque (no entry) - Al Aqr Wall, pass by, A heritage wall built around 400 years ago - Omani irrigation channels, pass by. - BBQ pit, short video will be played to show how the tandoor is ignited - Al Bustan inn, a renovated houses in a garden Visitors will pass by Nizwa central market.
