Embark on a rewarding journey Into the Wild, where you’ll play an essential role in the conservation efforts for monkey reintroduction. Nestled within a lush tropical dry forest, this sanctuary is home to Red Howlers, Capuchins, and the endangered Titi monkey, as well as colorful parrots and majestic macaws. Start your day with a hearty breakfast by the lake at Fundación Loros, followed by a talk from expert guides who will share the triumphs and challenges of wildlife conservation. Explore the forest aboard a rugged 4x4 vehicle, where you’ll marvel at Cerro de los Loros and meet local farmers, learning about their role in preserving this ecosystem. You’ll also help harvest cassava and papaya, learning about sustainable farming traditions. Your hands-on experience includes preparing and delivering food to monkeys, planting a native tree, and fostering sustainable interaction with the forest’s unique wildlife.
