You will be part of the Torá Carey turtle project. The goal is to protect the animals from Poachers. Turtle hatching happen almost every day, but the exact hatching day and time is not known. We do a night tour (7-10pm) and go with the turtle patrol and check for nesting signs and nests on 2-3 beaches. Transport if necessary is by minibus from the resort. Travel time is 10-15 min. Bilingual nature guide included. You will see all the other night active animals. And hope that the night you are there they hatch. The temperature in the nests affects the birth time for up to 5 days. The rule is 60 days. The problem is in getting it right. Some night 2-3 nests hatch. Some nights none.
