Constructed between 1698 and 1702 by Prince Constantin Brâncoveanu, the palace exemplifies the Brâncovenesc architectural style, a unique blend of Venetian, Ottoman, and Byzantine influences . --- ️ Historical Significance The palace was initially built by Prince Brâncoveanu, who ruled Wallachia from 1688 to 1714. Following his execution in 1714, the palace underwent several transformations, including serving as an inn and experiencing periods of neglect. In the 19th century, it came under the ownership of the Bibescu family, who undertook significant restoration efforts.
