Highlights

Glaciares Gourmet is a full day experience aboard the María Turquesa Cruise, which tours some places of this Patagonian landscape, navigating it with the highest comfort. An activity specially designed for a memorable experience.


You will visit several hanging glaciers such as Seco, Heim Sur, Peinetta and then disembark at Puesto de Las Vacas. There we will hike for 30 minutes through part of a Patagonian Andean forest and its beaches.


Then you will have lunch (optional, with 2 optional menus and a 3rd vegetarian menu), and then we will go to visit the highest glacier in the National Park: the Spegazzini Glacier.

Itinerary

  • El Calafate

    1 hoursAdmission Ticket Free
    The voyage begins with the pick up of passengers until arriving at Punta Banderas port, located 47 kilometers from El Calafate. From there, at 9:00 AM we will set sail towards the North Channel of Lake Argentino.

  • Glaciar Spegazzini

    3 hoursAdmission Ticket Included
    Afterwards, we head towards the Spegazzini Channel to visit several hanging glaciers such as Seco, Heim Sur, Peinetta and then disembark at Puesto de Las Vacas. There we will take a 30-minute walk through a Patagonian Andean forest and its beaches. Upon returning to the boat we will have enough time for lunch (you can bring your own food or choose the option "with lunch") while we continue our walk until we reach the front of the highest glacier in the National Park: the Spegazzini Glacier (135 meters above the lake level / 440 ft above the lake level). Here we will take the time to take pictures and contemplate in silence so much natural beauty.

  • Lago Argentino

    3 hoursAdmission Ticket Included
    The ice floes, some of which are three times the size and volume of our boat, will decorate our passage through the Upsala Channel, from where we will be able to observe the Upsala Glacier (the third largest glacier in the Southern Patagonian Ice Field) about 15 km away.

  • El Calafate

    1 hoursAdmission Ticket Free
    Once the last stop is finished, we will return to the dock, and then we will leave each passenger at their hotel.
