- Pets are allowed in the paid outdoor areas (outside the castle tower) if they are kept in a cage that completely covers them (assistance dogs are permitted). In other areas, pets can be brought in as long as they are on a leash.
- Fires are strictly prohibited in Kumamoto Castle Park. There is no smoking area within the paid area, so please smoke at the smoking area next to the Ninomaru "Reconstruction Castle Lord Reception" or the smoking area at Josaien.
- Please refrain from eating in the paid area. Only beverages with lids are allowed.
- Wheelchairs, including electrically assisted ones, are available for free rental for those who need them during their visit. Reservations are not accepted, and an accompanying person is required. Please note that wheelchairs are not available in rainy weather.
- Strollers are allowed, and you may use them during your visit to the castle.
- Electric carts, child carts, and riding carts are not allowed in the paid areas and will be refused entry.
- There are four first aid rooms available for visitors who are feeling unwell or experiencing physical discomfort. All first aid rooms are clearly marked with signs:
1. Space in the rest area in front of the castle tower
2. Shared with the nursing room adjacent to the South Exit ticket office
3. Shared with the nursing room adjacent to the Sukiyamaru restrooms
4. Shared with the nursing room in the Ninomaru rest area - The three “compassionate elevators” in the castle tower are available only to the following individuals:
・Wheelchair or stroller users (including caregivers)
・People who have difficulty using stairs
If you would like to use one, please speak to a staff member at the castle tower entrance when you arrive. - Please allow plenty of time for your visit and consider using public transportation when traveling to the park.

It was a good experience visiting a great Castle. Pity not much explanation in English mostly in Japanese
