Mara is located in Southwestern Kenya along the Great Rift Valley. The reserve is popular for annual, great migration, all members of big five and big cats, exceptional populations of lion, African leopard, and African elephant are found here all year around and more than 470 bird species including vultures, marabou storks, hornbills, lilac breasted roller which is the national bird of Kenya.
