La Tigra National Park encompasses an impressive cloud forest that extends over 238 km2. The elevations in the park range from more than four thousand to almost seven thousand feet above sea level. Considered one of the richest habitats in the world, with good hiking trails and a great diversity of flora and fauna such as bromeliads, orchids, oak and a large number of native species and migratory birds.
