Your artist tutor for this unique experience in Florence is a professional sculptor or artist classically trained in painting. Their light-filled studio, with its original artworks and expertly recreated pieces, is an exquisite showcase of their skill as well as a great inspiration for you. With hands-on instruction, your art-expert guide will impart the secrets behind ancient techniques and modern methods. You’ll also be inspired simply by being in Florence, one of the greatest art cities of all time. This is the birthplace of the Renaissance and home to the some of the world’s greatest artists and artworks, from Michelangelo, Leonardo, Donatello, Botticelli and a host of other Old Masters. All materials will be supplied to your small group of up to 8 people. Choose to paint a still life or create your very own copy of a famous work. Or perhaps you’d rather sculpt, finding inspiration to form the figure of your choice. This painting or sculpting class runs at either 10am or 1pm, year-round, upon request.
