We will meet in Gavilan de Upala, the northern area of Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. This is a basic to intermediate hike so we will take the trail adapted to your capacity and conditions. There are two trails We will hike for 25 minutes on nature trails where we can find different species of birds and plants until we reach El Santuario Waterfall. The waterfall is well hidden away on the outskirts of Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. The trail is 1 Kilometer singletrack so together it is 2 km. There is some hiking to do in elevation and some caves to go across. Later to reach the waterfall we have to swim 25 meters through a beautiful turquoise river canyon.
