This is the second portrait Ryan has taken of me, and it felt like meeting an old friend. The passion he has for the art form is truly infectious, and getting to learn what goes into each portrait made me feel the same way I felt walking into my favourite class in school. He takes so much pride and joy in explaining the process of preparing the plate, before taking your portrait with expertise that puts you at ease almost immediately. The exciting part would be watching the magic happen as your portrait develops, with the experience made much sweeter when you get to prep and shoot yourself in the second half. I can't recommend this experience enough to those who'd like to learn more about this unique type of photography and walk home with beautiful portraits that'll stand the test of time.
Informative , hands on and very knowledgeable and passionate guide for this art form . Ryan was very kind to help my 91 year old dad to be comfortable and make it a memorable experience for us .
