30 minsAdmission Ticket IncludedThe Kichwa people of Tigua, located in the central Sierra region, are famous for their traditional paintings on sheepskin canvases. Historically, the Tigua people were famous for painting highly decorative masks and drums, painting on flat surfaces is somewhat of a modern development. Tigua painting tends to have vibrant colours and simplistic themes. The themes in most paintings are scenes of pastoral life, religious ceremonies, and festivals.
