The first stop is the impressive Xochicalco Archaeological Zone, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built between 650 and 900 AD, it was an important political and ceremonial center after the fall of Teotihuacan.
Next, you will visit Cuernavaca, the "City of Eternal Spring." Enjoy a panoramic view of the historic Palace of Cortés, one of the oldest colonial civil buildings in the Americas.
You will continue to the iconic Cuernavaca Cathedral, built in the 16th century by the Franciscans and one of the first monasteries on the continent.
You will also explore the beautiful Borda Gardens, built in the 18th century as a country retreat and famous for their elegant gardens, ponds, and imperial past, as they were the residence of Emperor Maximilian and Empress Carlota.
