Today, it has become a business district with many shops and restaurants, especially around Umeda, its most emblematic area. Osaka’s aptly named railway station is located in the centre of Osaka Kita, in the middle of seven other stations. These stations handle more than 2.5 million passengers a day.Umeda Sky Building（通過）

It has more than 1300 years of history and it mainly celebrates Sugawara no Michizane, personality of the 9th century deified under the name of Tenjin, divinity of studies and knowledge. The shrine is also famous for the unfortunate romance between Ohatsu and Tokubei.
