Your guide selects the route based on seasonal wildlife movements, weather and recent activity to maximize opportunities for sightings. Keep watch for elk, deer, bighorn sheep, bears, moose and other native wildlife while enjoying spectacular mountain scenery. Wildlife viewing is primarily from the minibus, with possible stops at scenic viewpoints at your guide’s discretion. It was rainy but we still saw several elk and deer in the distance. Kelly, our guide, was wonderful and offered many fact-filled stories about the wildlife and area to keep us attentive. She even spotted a golden eagle off in the trees. Very nice tour.
