Your day starts with morning pickup at the port in Mangaluru (Mangalore) by your private guide. The market has hundreds of shops lining the narrow alleys inside the market and they sell an assortment of traditional items. traditional clothing, especially silk sarees. One of the things that is in great demand here is the Ayurvedic medicines and oils which are made from an assortment of herbs and spices. The food stalls outside the market provide a great excuse to indulge in tasty street food.

Built in 1885, is an important chapel for followers of Christianity in Mangaluru. A line of circular pillars holds aloft an arched ceiling. Oil paintings on canvas bonded to the ceiling depict the life of Aloysius Gonzaga to whom the chapel is dedicated. The Chapel showcases several magnificent pieces of artwork, crafted by Italian painter Antonio Moscheni.
