dear all, skip the line at pier 39 San Francisco (if on site to buy U$39.00/pp), just simply show the bar code at entry point, sit tight and enjoy the one hour boat ride from Pier 39 to the Golden Gate Bridge passing Alcatraz prison island, pretty cool. well worth the trip. Lucia from San Francisco
It is so convenient to book the cruise with Pelago. We first booked it from 5.30-6.30 pm but we thought it was too early to see the sunset from the ferry. Pelago allowed us to cancel and change the booking to 6.30-7.30 pm easily. If you are in San Francisco during spring/summer, we highly recommend taking the Bay Cruise during the golden hour.
It will be prefect if the cruise can stop for 5 mins at both golden gate and Alcatraz Island location for photo taking.
