- Ticketing counter business hours vary by station. Please refer to the official business hours guide: https://www.jrkyushu.co.jp/english/pdf/BusinessHours.pdf
- You can exchange your voucher at the following stations: Oita, Kumamoto, Kagoshima-chuo, Miyazaki, and Miyazaki Airport.
- The pass must be used on 3 consecutive days.
- The pass is only valid within the JR Kyushu service area and excludes lines operated by other companies.
- Travel on trains outside the designated coverage area is subject to an additional fee.
- Advance seat reservations are available for a fee (¥1,500 for D&S trains, ¥1,000 for regular limited express) via the JR Kyushu Rail Pass Online Booking service.

- The pass cannot be used for the Sanyo Shinkansen between Hakata and Kokura.
- Only non-Japanese citizens visiting Japan on a "Temporary Visitor" visa for sightseeing purposes are eligible.
- You must hold a passport issued by a country other than Japan.
- You must reside outside of Japan.
- Passport verification is required at the time of exchange.
- Infants (0–5 years): Free if they do not require a separate seat.
- Children (6–11 years): Child ticket required (half the price of an adult pass).
- Adults (12+ years): Adult ticket required.
- The age of the child is determined as of the date of purchase.
- Original Passport (with "Temporary Visitor" stamp/seal).
- Mobile or printed exchange voucher.
- Wheelchair accessible at major stations and on most Shinkansen and limited express services.
- Elevators and slopes are available at exchange stations.
- Your booking will be confirmed instantly.
- Full refund available if the voucher is cancelled before exchange.
- Non-refundable and cannot be cancelled if the voucher has expired.
- Expired vouchers are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase.
- Present your voucher and passport in person at a designated JR Kyushu ticket office to receive your physical pass.
- The physical pass can be used through automatic ticket gates.
- Voucher must be exchanged within 3 months of the purchase date.
