The tour begins at 5 PM with a pick-up from your hotel and takes you to Nhon Ly, where you'll board a boat and head out to sea to catch some squid. Don't worry if you're new to squid fishing because the tour provides you with all the necessary equipment such as fishing lines, fishing rods, and bait to help you easily catch the biggest and freshest squid. The tour guide is a friendly and knowledgeable local who speaks fluent English and will teach you how to use the equipment and the most effective squid fishing techniques. You're sure to catch some delicious squid with the guide's expert guidance. Once you've caught your squid, enjoy the delicious freshly cooked dish prepared by skilled chefs on the boat. You'll be back at your Quy Nhon hotel before 11 PM, and the tour lasts 4.5 hours.

I found that the activity is unique but has poor value for money. The itinerary included hotel pick up and drop off, street food at a home food stall, stroll to a viewpoint, a short coconut boat ride, and a fishing reel with fake bait. The dinner was basic instant noodles with squid, beer and watermelon. We did not catch any squid, but small fishes, when live bait was provided. The squid fishing takes place on a floating platform and not on a boat. A short coconut boat ride will take you to the platform. There was no sharing of information or stories about the place. We were just brought along from one place to another to take photos. Hygiene was a huge concern and made us uncomfortable during the whole experience. I became sick after and couldn't eat for days. Furthermore, the guide threw plastic rubbish into the sea which was really sad to see.
