Summary:


This tour is a great opportunity to get know some areas of Lima and enjoy Peruvian food on the same day. The meeting point is going to be at Terrua, where you can try one of the best coffees in Lima. After coffee the bike ride starts; Miraflores, Barranco and Surquillo are on the way with different stops to have some bites of Peruvian food, local fruits and drinks.

Itinerary

  • Terrua Cafeteria

    The morning starts with a morning coffee to at “Terrua” coffee shop with a brief explanation about the coffee in Peru. After powering up is time to start our bike ride.

  • Buenavista Café

    In the BuenaVista Cafe we can try "chicha morada", a traditional non-alcoholic drink from Peru made from purple corn, which is one of the many super foods we have, combined with some fruits, cinnamon and cloves. We will also include an empanada.

  • Miraflores Boardwalk

    Is time to enjoy the "Malecón de Miraflores" this is an area with very iconic places such as "El Parque del Amor" or "El Faro de la Marina". Also from here the view of the Pacific Ocean is incredible.

  • Barranco

    Barranco is known as the bohemian district of Lima, here we can enjoy the urban art while riding our bikes. We will also make a stop at the old "Juanito" tavern where we can try a delicious "butifarra" with Peruvian country ham.

  • Mercado nro 1 de Surquillo

    Then we will continue to the Surquillo market, where we will taste different local fruits, where the most outstanding is the lucuma, the best way to consume it is in smoothies and desserts.

  • Maraparte - Barra Pescadera

    Before finishing the tour there is one more stop at a local restaurant. Our friends from "Mar Adentro" will prepare us a delicious ceviche. This is one of the most representative dishes of Peruvian food made with fish marinated in lemon juice accompanied by onion, corn, chili, etc.
