    We begin the tour by heading north to Tomar through the Ribatejo farmland. In Tomar, we visit the Convent of Christ, originally built by the Knights Templar, and explore its Templar castle, the Romanesque round, the Manueline church, the Renaissance convent and the monastic precincts (ticket included). Let us learn how the Knights Templar originated the Order of Christ and how this new order became fundamental in the Age of Portuguese Discoveries. This convent was partially forgotten until it became today's UNESCO World Heritage Site.

    We continue to have lunch in the beautiful city of Tomar, with the beautiful river Nabão crossing the city. After hearing about the city's Jewish heritage and exploring its narrow streets full of history, we stop for free lunch, where you can enjoy a meal of traditional Portuguese food in one of its many restaurants (meal not included in the price). ).

    After lunch we will return to the car and return to the city of Mafra.
