This tour offers the most popular tourist attractions in Trabzon in one day. You will start the tour early in the morning at the agreed spot (hotel lobby, airport or cruise terminal). It is a private small group tour for up to 7 people. There will not be any other people other than your group. 


During the day you are going to see Sumela Monastery, Hagia Sophia of Trabzon, Atatürk Pavilion, For lunch, you will have the chance to taste local Akçaabat Meatballs with a nice Black Sea view. Then you are going to have a mild walk in the city center to see some more attractions of the city including an old mosque. Finally if there is still time and the group feels like it, you will go up to Boztepe Hill for a final view of the city with a glass of Turkish Black Tea.

  • Sumela Monastery

    The first stop will be Sumela Monastery. You will learn the story and history of this historical heritage site located in the middle of a National Park built upon a steep slope of the Black Mountains.

  • Ataturk Kosku

    After the monastery, you will go back to the city to visit Atatürk Pavilion where the founder of modern Turkey stayed for a couple of days, learn the legacy of Atatürk, and enjoy the architecture and the scenery.

  • Akcaabat

    Admission Ticket Free
    Then you will go to the neighboring town called Akçaabat to have famous Akçaabat Meatballs at a nice restaurant.

  • Trabzon Hagia Sophia Museum

    Admission Ticket Free
    After lunch, you will go to Hagia Sophia of Trabzon and learn about the history of the building and see the great frescoes on the wall with the lecture of your guide. After that, you are going to go for a walk in the city to experience daily life in Trabzon, visit an old mosque which used to be an Orthodox church.

  • Boztepe

    30 minsAdmission Ticket Free
    To finish the day, you will go up to Boztepe Hill for a nice glass of tea with the city view from above. The tour is going to finish at about 17:00 or 18:00 at the agreed spot. Your professional tour guide and the driver will do their best for you to have an unforgettable excursion.
