This day trip was a perfect way to see the key tourist sites outside of Ljubljana. Our guide Isidor was knowledgeable, friendly, and instructions were clear. He gave us a really good review for a restaurant at Lake Bled too. The tour group size was small, which meant we could customise easily. If you’re looking for a 100% guided tour this is not it though. The caves were conducted by the cave tour guides, not Isi, but were still a good way to see the cave. Similarly at the castle we had audio guides, and at Lake Bled Isi dropped us off where we requested but we were otherwise on our own. He did give us a good overview of Slovenia though, and he kept time well. Overall, great experience!
Van was small for max capacity of 8pax. Especially when all are full grown adults and now with winter jackets. Would be better with bigger van for better comfort or maybe max 6pax. Driver cum guide uray was great and professional. Timing and duration planned was perfect.
Postojna caves have some nice interesting structures, but can be abit touristy. Lake bled is beautiful and worth the visit. Predjama castle view was good too.
