Day 2 : Visit to the Wonder of the World – Machu Picchu This day will be one of the most memorable of your trip, as we will visit the majestic Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World and World Heritage Site. Start of the day – Early departure We will start very early to make the most of the experience. Transfer from hotel to bus station ️ Ascent to Machu Picchu Once in Aguas Calientes, we will take the bus that will take us to the top of the mountain where the citadel is located. Upon arrival, we will start the guided tour of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. During the tour, we will explore the main sectors of the Machupicchu Archaeological Complex sacred site Our expert guide will share the history, architecture and mysteries surrounding this impressive legacy of the Inca Empire. ️ Return to Aguas Calientes After the tour, we will descend again to Aguas Calientes, where you will have some free time to have lunch, rest or explore the village. Return to Cusco Finally, we will board our train back to the city of Cusco, with mind and heart full of unforgettable memories.
