This private tour allows you to have an immersive journey through one of Sicily’s most extraordinary geological formations. Formed by ancient lava flows from Mount Etna and shaped over thousands of years by the icy waters of the Alcantara River, these gorges create a natural canyon unlike any other in Europe. Body rafting allows you to explore this hidden world from within, giving you access to narrow passages, vertical basalt walls, and hidden rock pools that can’t be reached by foot. Unlike traditional rafting, you are in direct contact with the river — floating, sliding, and swimming your way through nature’s masterpiece. At the end of the tour your Tour Leader will accompany you to traditional restaurant where you will have lunch based on Sicilian appetizers and Pasta alla Norma.
