The Ha Giang loop has become increasingly popular in the last year, with many travellers departing clockwise around the loop. On this tour, we go counter-clockwise for a more special and intimate experience. On Day 1, we will drive a motorbike to the scenic village of Du Gia, about 70km from HG. On the way, we’ll stop to visit a waterfall and river, where you can take a swim and enjoy nature. We’ll spend the night in a homestay in Du Gia. On Day 2, we will drive to Dong Van. Once we arrive, we will go to the Lung Cu tower which is by the border with China. Next, we will explore Dong Van Town and try different cuisines and coffee. We will stay in a homestay in Dong Van Town and prepare for the next day’s long drive. If we are lucky enough to be there on Sunday we can visit the local market to try Phở Lợn (Pork Pho) and many other foods. On Day 3, we will travel to the Hmong Royal Palace (the King of Dong Van). After we will visit Lung Tam market (silk village) and go to see the sunset in Quan Ba Mountain before spending the night at the Dao people’s homestay in Nam Dam. On Day 4, we’ll casually drive back to Ha Giang before taking the bus back to Hanoi (afternoon or sleeper).
