Pick you up from your accommodation in Florence at 8,30am. Our driver will normally be at your address at 8,15am. We will then drive to the first winery which will take approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

You are going to explore the entire estate, tour the vineyards and wine cellars and understand the production process of Brunello di Montalcino. Their interpretation of Sangiovese grapes has given life to world praised wines. During the wine tasting, you will taste a remarkable pallet of their best wines.

Tenuta Fanti belongs to the Fanti family since 1800. It was transformed from a sharecropping company to a winery, marking an important transition. The property extends across 260 hectares of land: 55 hectares of vineyards, 60 of olive trees and 145 of crops and forest which surround the new wine cellar built in 2004. The soil has a volcanic origin and it is rich in skeleton. The winery converted to organic agriculture, in an attempt to safeguard the territory and improve the quality of the products, while respecting consumers’ health. Here you will have a guided tour of the winery to understand the company’s philosophy, retracing together the various phases of wine production. You will understand the identity of the vineyards during the wine tasting in the panoramic terrace. The wines will be paired with typical Montalcino dishes prepared by the expert hands of their chefs. The experience will be accompanied by a tasting of their extra virgin olive oil.

The Villa i Cipressi Estate was born in the mid-seventies when Hubert Ciacci decided to expand his father’s small beekeeping business. The turning point came in the 90s when Hubert acquired more land fuelled by the desire to produce olive oil and fine wines. Today, Hubert, Patrizia and their sons Dario and Federico , manage the entire estate, each in their own sectors. Hubert’s wealth of experience directs this big little family group which sees Federico coordinating the honey and wine production as oenologist, Dario managing the sales and marketing while Patrizia contributes asa the image consultant. The family’s love of nature and great ecological spirit has led to the choice of using solar power as a basic energy supply and to the desire to convert the estate’s production to the principals of organic agriculture.
