Must Know
- Crater Access: Access to Mount Aso and Nakadake Crater may close without notice for safety reasons. The guide will adjust the itinerary according to onsite conditions.
- Operational Flexibility: Attractions, stop order, and timings may change depending on traffic, weather, railway operations, weekends, holidays, peak-season conditions, and other circumstances. Avoid scheduling activities immediately after the tour.
- Southern Aso Railway: The train ride is optional and self-paid. Regular train fare is JPY 490 per person, One Piece special train fare is JPY 490-1,000 per person, and the Torokko sightseeing train fare is JPY 2,000 per person.
- Train seats are limited. During busy periods, seats may not be available and passengers may need to stand.
- The One Piece special train and Torokko sightseeing train operate only on selected dates and are not available every day.
- Train type, operating dates, departure times, and boarding arrangements are subject to the Southern Aso Railway's actual operating schedule on the day.
- If railway services are affected by schedule changes, suspension, weather, or other circumstances beyond the operator's control, the railway company's arrangements on the day will apply.
