During this day trip we will come into contact with the city of San Francesco, Assisi, a Franciscan place not only in Umbria and Italy, but all over the world. Our guide will take us on an interesting visit along the splendid alleys of Assisi, from the main squares of the city, in its beautiful churches up to the Basilica of San Francesco where the remains of the saint rest. Audio guide included for the visit of the Basilica of San Francesco. Lunch break in a local restaurant in Assisi where we will enjoy a delicious typical Umbrian lunch - drinks included. In the afternoon, we will go on a beautiful trekking excursion with a private excursion guide from the Eremo delle Carceri, the place of spiritual retreat of San Francesco. We will visit this place and continue along a nature trail to discover the panoramas of Monte Subasio. At the end of the activity, we will come back to Eremo delle Carceri.
