The walking tour, combined with some short transfers by streetcar, will lead you to the theater, the city gate "Spalen", to the university area, the hidden alleyways on the upper market square and the town hall. Then you cross with a for Basel typical ferry to the other side of the Rhine river, before visiting the area of the minster church and it's viewing terrace.
