－What You Can Expect－
Tokyo’s historic district of Asakusa is famous not only for its beautiful
shrines and architecture but also its incredible street food. Nothing captures
the essence of Japanese sweets better than taiyaki. These pastries are made
from a pie-like crust in the shape of a cute fish and stuffed full of a
variety of flavors, the most famous of which being custard and sweet red
beans. Make your own classic Japanese desserts surrounded by Tokyo’s vibrant
living history in Asakusa. Make your own dough from scratch as you heat up the
special fish-shaped mold. You’ll be making six taiyaki so you can feel free to
experiment with a variety of fillings both savory and sweet. You can even
bring your own ingredients to spice things up if you would like. Use
traditional tools to assemble your pastry then set up to take the perfect
instagramable shot. When the photo-op is done, relax and enjoy your sweet
treat.

- Free for children younger than 6 years old. Please notify the number of children under 6 in the booking.
- All participants aged 6 and over, including accompanying adults, must book the experience to join.

- Filling options: red bean paste, cream, matcha bean paste, cheese, spicy keema curry, sweet potato, apple cinnamon honey, tuna mayo, kimchi cheese, "hot dog style" and "okonomiyaki style".
- Depending on the day, all fillings listed above may not be available. Please be aware that fillings and toppings are subject to availability.
- Feel free to bring your own add-ins such as fruit, chocolate, or even wasabi!

Very well. Liked the hands on approach and tat we were doing the taiyaki from scratch , but it was also a quick and easy activity that didn’t require prior skill. The taiyaki were very nice— crispy not doughy, well balanced with the filling and Guraku provided a really nice range of fillings for us! Clear instructions, easy tasks, great result.
