Highlights
Prepare for the adventure of a lifetime when choosing this two-day tour of Iceland’s South Coast.
The day’s stops are Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, Gljufrabui Waterfall, Skogafoss Waterfall, and Reynisfjara black sand beach.
Your hotel will be somewhere between the towns of Vik and Hofn, and your guide will tell you the Northern Light Forecast for viewing from the hotel.
The second day begins with an Ice Cave, followed by Jokulsarlon and Diamond Beach, and additional stops at Eldhraun Lava Fields, and the Bridge of the Volcanoes. These stops may change based on time permitting and weather conditions.
On our way back to Reykjavik we may stop in Vik if time permits.
The minimum age for participants is eight years. Be sure to pack warm clothing and comfortable shoes to enjoy every aspect of this experience. Dinner can be late for some advise bringing snacks to prevent hungry spells.
Please note that December is very busy on the South Coast, and this tour fills up quickly.

Day 1: South Coast
Seljalandsfoss

1 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeWe will visit this hidden waterfall inside a mini cave. Be prepared to get wet!Reynisfjara Beach
2 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeWe visited the famous Black Sand Beach. Beautiful basalt cliffs. Be careful to not get close to the water- it can trap you with its strength and hidden drops in the sand.- AccommodationsOvernight in 3 Star Hotel.
Day 2: Glacier Lagoon and Ice Cave

We also take a special modified vehicle into the national park, where we visit an Ice Cave. (The location and appearance the the ice cave may vary, as these are naturally occurring).Diamond Beach

The tour could have been better if we had a better guide. Sindri barely shared info about the places we went to and our stops were super rushed. We were given only about 20min in most of the stops and it was a long walk to and from the parking lot to the waterfalls. We all barely had time to enjoy the places. Literally reach the platform and take a quick photo then Run back to the parking lot. Sindri is very knowledgeable about a lot of stuff but kept the conversation mostly between him and the 2 other guests in the front. Ask for a different guide when booking.
