Located in Myoko Kogen, Niigata Prefecture, Akakura Kanko Resort Ski Area is a snow resort that spreads from the top of the slopes at an altitude of approximately 1,500m down to the base. You can enjoy a long run of up to about 4,500m, and there is a well-balanced selection of beginner, intermediate, and advanced courses. Both skiing and snowboarding can be enjoyed, and everyone from first-timers to experienced riders can ski according to their level.
By taking the gondola to the top of the slopes, you can enjoy skiing amidst the magnificent winter scenery of Myoko. The slopes include courses that are easy for beginners to practice on, courses where intermediate riders can enjoy long rides, and advanced courses with a maximum slope of 32 degrees, making it highly recommended for groups with varying levels of experience.
The overall course composition is 40% for beginners, 30% for intermediate riders, and 30% for advanced riders, designed to be enjoyed not only by first-timers but also by experienced skiers and snowboarders. Snowboarding is permitted on all slopes.
This plan includes a lift ticket for Akakura Kanko Resort Ski Area and rental equipment. The main appeal is that there is no need to arrange the lift ticket and equipment separately, reducing pre-trip preparation so you can just enjoy the snowy mountains.
