You will be picked up from your hotel/riad at 08am and head south.

Leaving Marrakech and heading south crossing the high Atlas mountain chain on the highest road pass in Morocco, Tizi N'Tichka with an altitude of 2260m. Beautiful windy roads and scenery

Stop for lunch at the infamous Berber village of ait benhaddou, fortified Ksar with beautiful kasbahs, backdrop for many movies and declared world heritage site by the unesco. Visit the kasbah with a local guide.

Arrive in Ouarzazate where we will stop for lunch. Join a film studio tour and discover which of your favorite movies were filmed in the nearby desert regions, a visit of Touarirt Kasbah and the Musée du Cinema are possible but optional.

After lunch we will break through the scarp at the pass of Tizi n'Tinififft and descend onto the lush palm grove of Agdz and Draa Valley. We go off-road along the ancient caravan route between the mountains and the river, passing many villages and gardens so that you can gain a better idea of the oases lifestyle.

We will have the opportunity to explore the biggest palm grove on our way to Zagora. We stop on the way to visit the underground kasbah and Koran library of historical Tamegroute before reaching Mhamid.
