Jiuzhaigou is located in Jiuzhaigou County, Aba Prefecture. The valley features towering snow-capped peaks, dense forests, and colorful pools and shoals. Crystal-clear streams wind through the forest and shallow pools, complemented by Tibetan wooden houses, prayer flags, and the unique traditional customs of the Tibetan and Qiang ethnic groups. Jiuzhaigou has been called a "beautiful fairyland" by people.

The main structure of Jiuzhaigou is Y-shaped, consisting of three valleys: Shuzheng Valley, Rize Valley, and Zechawa Valley, with a total length of over 50 kilometers. Within the scenic area, there are environmentally-friendly sightseeing buses that travel around, stopping when signaled by passengers. Tourists usually take these eco-friendly buses to visit each attraction one by one.
