Half day trip of full adrenaline and adventure Sandboarding tour, a thrilling and unique outdoor activity.
This exciting experience also include challenge 4x4 off-roading on the last north region of Desierto de Atacama (Peru) and makes your adventure surrounded by volcanoes and snow-caps spots of Arequipa region.
The sandboarding adventure will be done on the dunes located between arid hills, which look as moon surface, makes unique and unforgettable desert adventure.
The tour is available for beginners and experienced sandboarders, thanks to diverse routes and difficulties of dunes that’s require going up and down from 3m to 120m high. Also, you can choose the inclination of the dunes to practice the 3 styles of sandboarding supported by our filed staff.

Itinerary

The highlight of this desert adventure will be to practice Sandboard or sand ski. The activity will be developed in one of most arid zones of the end of desierto de Atacama. Just few hours driving away from Arequipa (southwest) exist some dunes, thanks to the vast desert between mountains and Pacific Ocean. There everyone is welcome to get unbelieved experience practicing sandboarding from different sand dunes well formed between the rocky hills. This challenge downhill on the dunes takes 2 hours finding the best spots for fun videos and amazing photos of the vast desert, which looks as colorful Martian landscape. This adventure also includes 4x4 navigation on the diverse steep dunes thanks to off-roading driving skills of our drivers.
