From Hamilton Island, cruise to Airlie Beach on the mainland. A 40-minute
coach ride takes you through sugarcane plantations to the muddy banks of the
Proserpine River. From here, a friendly ranger takes you croc-spotting in a
large, secure, flat-bottom vessel. The tour continues to the spectacular
Goorganga Wetlands, where you’ll ride on an open-air tractor train and spy
birds, wallabies and snakes. Enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch, plus
traditional billy tea and damper for afternoon tea.
