Walking around this small island, just off Xiamen's current shoreline, it is a cornucopia of beautifully preserved, mildly decrepit and completely ruined colonial architecture, including the old consulates, merchant villas, shop houses, churches, etc. The major tourist attractions has the Sunlight Rock, Shuzhuang garden, Bright moon park, Yu Garden, Huandao Rd., Gulang stone, museums, Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall, Undersea World and Natural Bathing Beach, etc

After lunch, continue to visit South Putuo Temple, the most famous Buddhist temple in town. South Putuo Temple is an active temple with over 200 monks. It first built in Tang Dynasty with over 1000 years of history and famous for its rich Buddhist cultural relics collection.
