You can also be picked up at your hotel in Jodhpur and start this full-day sightseeing tour of Jodhpur city. Your first stop is the Mehrangarh Fort, an important historical landmark and a popular Jodhpur attraction. You will find numerous beautiful palaces, galleries, ancient temples, and a museum inside the complex. Later visit Jaswant Thada, a 19th-century royal cenotaph. In addition to the monument, it also features spectacular gardens. Finally, visit another popular landmark in Jodhpur - Umaid Bhawan Palace. The elegant palace was built during the 20th century in order to provide employment for 3,000 famine stricken residents of Jodhpur. It has recently been transformed into a 5-star heritage palace hotel.
