Our guides are Japanese, and we provide tours in both Japanese and English. We ask for your understanding as English is not their native language. Even if you don't speak Japanese or English, that is completely fine! The guide will use a translator at key spots to make sure you don't miss the highlights. Above all, you will be amazed by the breathtaking forest scenery. We are confident this will be an unforgettable forest walk for you.

This itinerary offers pick-up and drop-off at various designated locations. All locations presented for selection at the time of booking are eligible for this service.

The mountains and virgin forest reflected on the mirror-like surface of the lake are truly breathtakingly beautiful.
Enjoy a walk through the native bush with an unparalleled wildlife density. In the forests of the Five Lakes, which support the lives of wild animals, there are many traces of life such as the horn sharpening marks of Yezo deer and the claw marks of brown bears.
Enjoy the 3-kilometer journey with a tour guide.

About 1 hour before the tour start time, staffs will pick up the guests at Utoro area

End of the Tour 11:30(20th April - 30th September) 12:00(1st October - 8th November)
★Afternoon Tour★
Start of the Tour 13:30(20th April - 30th September) 13:20(1st October - 8th November)
End of the Tour 16:30(20th April - 30th September) 16:20(1st October - 8th November)
Drop off at Utoro area within about 1 hour after the tour finishes.

This tour is confirmed to run on all scheduled dates. It is guaranteed to run for even one person.
【Spring / Summer / Autumn Tour】
・Participants must be between elementary school age and 79 years old.
・We recommend that you take out personal accident insurance.
・There is no toilet during the tour.
・When you are late for the meeting place and time on the day, you may not be able to participate in the tour.
・Please refrain from using mobile phones during the tour.
・Please refrain from using perfumes and hair styling products as they may induce bee attacks and please refrain from wearing black clothes.
・Mosquitoes may occur during May to August, so please wear clothes and shoes that do not expose your skin.
・From July to August, there are days when the temperature exceeds 30℃, so please be carefully about the heat stroke.
・This tour is an outdoor activity.Please participate in good physical condition.If you feel no good, please refrain from participating.
・We will operate tour even if it rains.Please prepare rain jacket and pants.However, if the organizer decides that the tour can not be safety,it will be cancelled.
・Bears Active Season (10th May to 31st July)
・Due to the strict restrictions on admission to the pathways, you will not be able to join the tour if you are late for the meeting time.

・Shiretoko five lakes is a 25-minutes drive from Utoro area. If you come by yourself, please set "Shiretoko five lakes (Mapcode : 757 730 727) as your destination.
