This is a once in a lifetime experience, that will stay with you forever.
You will have the opportunity to stay the night in homestays, where you will enjoy wifi and hot showers. Alternatively, you can choose to stay in a localhouse with a local family. Either way you will experience this incredible place and amazing people. Huddle round an open fire, spend time chatting and getting to know your host family. In the local house there will be no luxuries, no wifi, but what there is, is a chance to hang up your connection with the world wide web, and just for a while connect with nature. You’ll be surprised by the wonderful effect a “back to basics” lifestyle (even for a couple of days) can have. Instagram and facebook can wait… !
All our treks are private with your own tour guide. We avoid other tourist routes (unless you advise otherwise). Our guides speak excellent English, are local and have so much knowledge about Sapa, the surroundings, history, culture, and the different tribes.
Itinerary
Day 1- Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Muong Hoa Stream - Lao Chai - Ta Van
Muong Hoa Valley
8 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedDay 1 Sapa -Y Linh Ho - Muong Hoa Stream - Lao Chai - Ta Van You will experience the colourful traditional costumes of H’Mong, Dzao, Tay, Zay, Xa pho ethnic People Lunch at restaurant or with a local family at their home. You will visit Y Linh Ho then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. You approach Ta Van village where Dzay Ethnic People live in the late afternoon. Trekking distance is about 12 kms and it lasts for 3.5hours. You will check in at your homestay or local house; get to know the family of Dzay People. Spend time enjoying mountain life and watch the sunset. Day 2 - Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai Village - Ban Ho

8 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedTa Van - Giang Ta Chai village – Ban Ho You will have breakfast, prepared by your host family/local house and begin a new day of trekking. As you walk through the rice fields, you will be stunned by the beautiful surrounding landscape. You will trek through the bamboo forest and stop to take in the panoramic view of Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai village – home of Red Dzao People. You will trek to Su Pan where you will have lunch at the home of H’Mong or Dzao Ethnic people/ After lunch, you will trekk through the rice terraces and along the valley with the spectacular and peaceful scenery, you are unlikely to see any other tourists there. You approach Ban Ho village in the afternoon and check in at your homestay; get to know the family of Tay People. Day 3 - Y Linh Ho Village - Ban Ho - Nam Toong - Sinh Chai - Than Phu

You will trek through Nam Toong village – home of Tay and red Dzao People, enjoy lunch at a restaurant or local house. Spend time meeting local people and learning their way of life. After lunch you will trek to Sinh Chai village and visit the Xa Pho Tribe. Day 4 -Thanh Phu - Ban Ho - Sapa

5 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedThanh Phu - Ban Ho You will enjoy breakfast prepared by your host family, say goodbye. In the morning you trek to Ban Ho village, crossing the bridge and take in the beautiful Lavi waterfall. You will meet the Tay, Black Hmong and Zao Tribes.
