Terms and Conditions for the CLAIM WHAT'S YOURS Giveaway

This Pelago [CLAIM WHAT’S YOURS] Promotion (the “Promotion”) is organised by Encounters Pte Ltd (“Pelago”).

The Promotion will commence on 15 October 2025 at 00:00 (Singapore time) and end on 22 October 2025 23:59 (Singapore time) (the “Promotion Period”). 

ELIGIBILITY

1. This Promotion is open to participants (“Eligible Participants”) who:-

   1. Have made a booking for an activity or travel essential (the “Booked Activity”) on any other travel platform except Pelago;

   2. The Booked Activity must be priced below SGD 1,000;

   3. The activity date of the Booked Activity must fall on or after 1 November 2025;

   4. Eligible Participants must be aged 18 years and above at the time of participation;

   5. Employees of Pelago and its affiliates are not eligible to participate;

   6. The Promotion is open to Eligible Participants worldwide, subject to all applicable local laws and regulations;

   7. Promotion is limited to the first 1,000 entries

   8. For clarity, this Promotion does not apply to bookings in travel categories that Pelago does not offer (e.g., flights, hotels, or car rentals).

2. To participate in the Promotion:-

   1. Eligible Participants must email a screenshot of their booking confirmation of the Booked Activity, showing:-

      1. The name of the Booked Activity;

      2. The activity date of the Booked Activity; and

      3. The amount paid for the Booked Activity.

   2. The screenshot must be sent to travel@pelago.co with the subject line:

      1. “CLAIM MY CASH” to receive the dollar amount saved; or

      2. “CLAIM MY MILES” to receive the bonus miles earned.

   3. Eligible Participants may choose to receive one reward only (as described in Section 3.B.ii) in the form of a promo code, redeemable on the Pelago app only.

   4. Once Pelago has verified the booking, Pelago will calculate the benefit the participant would have received if the same (or a similar) activity had been booked on Pelago, being either:

      1. A 10% discount (capped at SGD50); or

      2. KrisFlyer miles at an earn rate of 8 miles per SGD1.

   5. Pelago reserves the right to verify booking of Booked Activity and require proof of purchase if necessary.

   6. Each Eligible Participant may only submit screenshot of one (1) Booked Activity during the Promotion Period. Duplicate submissions may be disqualified. 

   7. Screenshots which are incomplete or inaccurate shall be deemed invalid.

PROMO CODE REDEMPTION

1. If the Eligible Participant chooses to receive the discount promo code, Pelago will issue a promo code for the discount. The promo code is valid for the next booking on the Pelago app with a minimum spend of SGD 1 

2. If the Eligible Participant chooses to receive the Krisflyer Miles promo code, Pelago will issue a promo code for the KrisFlyer miles. The promo code must be applied on the next booking on the Pelago app with a minimum spend of SGD 1. Bonus miles will be credited directly into the Eligible Participant’s KrisFlyer account after the Pelago activity has been completed, in line with Pelago’s standard crediting timelines

Example

1. If your Booked Activity was SGD 135 and Pelago’s offer at the time was 10% off capped at SGD 50, you would be entitled to either:

   1. a promo code for SGD 13.50 off your next booking, OR

   2. a promo code for 1,080 bonus KrisFlyer miles (calculated at 8 KrisFlyer miles per SGD 1). The bonus Krisflyer miles will be credited into your KrisFlyer account after you have completed the Pelago activity booked using the KrisFlyer Miles promo code. 

All Promo Codes (whether for discounts or Krisflyer Miles) must be redeemed no later than 31 December 2025 (23:59 GMT+8), after which they will expire automatically.

The Promo Codes (whether for discounts or Krisflyer Miles) are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or other alternatives.

By taking part in this Promotion, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and accept that Pelago’s decision on all matters relating to the Promotion is final and binding on you. You also agree that any and all personal data submitted may be collected, used, disclosed, or otherwise processed by Pelago for the purposes of the Promotion and the Promo Code, including to communicate with the eligible participation on the issuance and redemption of the Promo Codes. All collection, use and disclosure of eligible participant’s personal data will be in accordance with Pelago’s Privacy Policy (available online at https://pages.pelago.co/en-sg/privacy-policy).  

By participating in the Promotion, participants hereby agree and authorize Pelago, to use at its discretion, without further compensation to the eligible participants to disclose and use any of their names, personal details, photographs, videotapes or any likeness of them for packaging, promotional, advertising, marketing and/or publicity purposes (where not prohibited by written law), and to the use of statements or any creative content made by or attributed to the eligible participants, and any rights in connection therewith. The eligible participant shall not own any intellectual property rights (including moral rights) to any of their entries submitted in connection with the Promotion and accordingly agree to unconditionally waive all such rights.

By entering this Promotion, all participants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Pelago and its affiliates from any claims, losses, and damages arising out of their participation in this Promotion and the acceptance of the Prize.

Pelago will not assume responsibility or liability whatsoever for damages, loss or injury resulting from the participant participating in the Promotion or for any use of the Promo Code. 

Pelago reserves the right to verify the validity and originality of any entry and/or the identity of the participant and to disqualify any participant who is not eligible, or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The demise of a participant automatically disqualifies their entry.

Pelago has the right to remove any entries or block any users using profanity, racial slurs, foul language or comments that may be deemed as an attack on Pelago or the Promotion. By participating in this Promotion to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, hateful, threatening, or otherwise in violation of any law.

Pelago reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions, terminate or otherwise amend this Promotion without prior notice at its sole and absolute discretion.

Pelago shall not be responsible for any auxiliary expenses incurred or damage or injury suffered as a result of, or in connection with the Promotion and/or redemption or use of the Promo Code howsoever arising. The eligible participant is also responsible for all applicable taxes (including but not limited to, federal, state, local and/or income) on the Promo Code. 

For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by Pelago of this Promotion shall not entitle any party to any claim or compensation against Pelago for any and all losses or damage suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.

This Promotion and the terms and conditions shall be governed by Singapore law and each participant agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.

A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall have no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53B) to enforce any terms of such agreement.
