A Hot Air Balloon Cairns vehicle will pick you up from your hotel to commence
a hot air balloon scenic flight. Choose to get your morning off to a great
start, with a spectacular balloon inflation display. Rise up and float over
the scenic Atherton tablelands with its rainforest fringed mountains and
tranquil country landscapes. Watch out for local wildlife and afterwards there
are balloon pack up games before boarding the coach for transfer to Skyrail
Smithfield Station. It will take approximately 1 1/2 hours to get from the
Smithfield Terminal to Kuranda. There are some exciting stops along the way as
you change carriages. Once you arrive in Kuranda you will have time to explore
the small town and also cafes and restaurants for something to eat and drink
(at own cost). In the afternoon check in for you train ride on the Kuranda
Scenic Railway with plenty of time as the train will leave on time. First you
will stop to see the dramatic Barron falls to get off and take photos. This
really is one of the most scenic train journeys in the world. The train will
conclude at Cairns Central Rail station from there you will need to make your
own way back to your accommodation.
