Day1: Dali Xizhou and Zhoucheng, Earhai Cruise (L)

In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel (within Dali Ancient Town) and be taken to our meeting point.

(Sometimes Dali Ancient Town doesn't allow cars to go into small places, in that case, we will arrange a meeting point)

Then drive to Xizhou to visit Bai-style traditional architectural courtyards and explore the local Bai minorities distinctive culture. Then go to Zhoucheng Village, which is often called “Home of the Bai ethnic minority Tie- Dye culture” and experience the tie- dye culture first-hand.

After Lunch, you will take a cruise on Erhai Lake to Jinsuo Island, a local cormorant fishing village. Enjoy the green Cangshan Mountain Range and the Three Pagodas from afar as well as the many birds flying over the lake. After that, the guide will take you to check-in to your hotel (If you don’t use our hotel then your driver will drop you off at the south gate of Dali Ancient Town) and enjoy a free-time evening in the town.

 

Day 2: Lijiang Black Dragon Pool, Dongba Museum Yuhu Village, and Lijiang Ancient Town (B, L)

After breakfast, your driver will take you to Lijiang where you will visit the Black Dragon Pool. Here, you can enjoy a fantastic view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from afar then go to the Dongba Museum to explore Naxi minority culture. Afterwards You will be driven to Yuhu village, which is located in the southern valley with a full view of the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Visit the museum dedicated to the life of Joseph Rock, an explorer and biologist who lived in the area in the early 20th century. You then have the opportunity to join a guided  trek leading you along the mountain slopes. Afterwards your driver will bring you back to Lijiang Ancient Town, where this tour will end.
