It is a unique tour that captures both the 'relaxation' of a late start and the 'efficiency' of a full schedule.
The journey begins at Odori Station and Sapporo Station. As the journey to Biei is long, we first stop at Sunagawa Service Area to take a break and enjoy delicious Hokkaido dairy products or snacks. We then arrive at Biei Station for lunch around 2:00 PM, well past the peak dining hours. A major advantage of this tour is that you can avoid long queues at famous restaurants and enjoy a pleasant, unhurried meal. You are free to choose your own menu from the guide's recommendation list.
After lunch, we set off to enjoy the vast snowy landscapes of Biei. We visit 'Mild Seven Hill,' known for its endless snowfields, followed by the iconic 'Christmas Tree,' the best photo spot in the area. The sight of a single tree standing alone in the vast white snow creates a serene and exotic atmosphere. It is the perfect time to capture memories against the backdrop of Biei’s pure nature without the rush.
Next, we move to the Shirogane area, famous for its waterfall and pond. We head to 'Shirahige Waterfall' as quickly as possible. The harmony of white snow and blue water here is truly beautiful. It is especially breathtaking in winter, a place where gasps of wonder come out naturally. As it gets slightly dark, the orange streetlights turn on, creating an unrealistic landscape as if you are in a fairytale. Then, we move to the 'Blue Pond.' We watch the Blue Pond illumination, which is hard to see on other tours that start early. In fact, in winter, the Blue Pond is covered with white snow, so you cannot see the blue water itself. However, the blue light-up show allows you to feel a different charm of the Blue Pond. Finally, the tour heads to the 'Ceramic Tree (Shirogane Birke).' The lights wrapping around the giant tree shine brightly from afar. This illumination, visible because of our later schedule, can only be viewed on our tour!
