SCHEDULE 17:30 Gather 18:00 Learn how to paddle and listen to a safety explanation. 18:30 Departure from Tomonoura Port 19:15 Sensuijima Island 20:15 The glowing sea fireflies will start to appear and make your world turn blue. This is the moment to get some wonderful photos of this beautiful sight. 21:30 Return to Tomonoura Port Say goodbye to the fireflies and kayak back to Tomonoura. DETAILS Have you ever seen sea fireflies? In this tour, a local guide will take you to the best spots to see sea fireflies during the summer months (June to October). Before departure, you will have a bento box prepared for you at a local cafeteria. You will depart once the kayaks have been prepared. In Tomonoura at night, you can enjoy starkly different scenery from the daytime, such as an illuminated shrine gate. When you arrive at Sensuijima Island, open your heart to the magical world of shining blue. It's sure to be a photo-worthy experience!

Depending on sunset times and natural conditions, the tour may end late in the evening. For this reason, we recommend participants stay overnight in Fukuyama City or Tomonoura area, or come by rental car or private vehicle.
The activity may be canceled due to poor weather conditions. We will contact you by 18:00 the day before. In such cases, full refunds will be given.
