Located near the Tenorio Volcano in Costa Rica's Guanacaste region, the Tenorio River winds, churns and flows for 15 scenic miles before merging with the Corobicí River. As a tour member, you'll float down this incredible river for four hours, passing through sections which are dominated by class III-IV white-water rapids. Hold on tightly to your paddle as you plunge through the cataracts and are sprayed with water! During the smoother sections, take a look around at the lush, forested scenery and try to spot tropical birds perched high in the trees. You will take a lunch break and later will be driven back to your hotel.
