The cruise itself was enjoyable with good hosting from the crew of Brim Explorer. Unfortunate not to see the lights that day but that is out of the crew’s control.

Enjoyable overall, mainly because we saw the NL. However, the female crew did not feel welcoming even from boarding. I grabbed my welcome drink and another for my mum, but she seemed rude about the one-glass-per-person policy. My mum also accidentally sat at a table set for 3 instead of 4, and she appeared very stressed and kept saying we sat at the wrong table. My mum is senior with hearing difficulties. If they were so strict abt seating arrangements, might as well label the tables for dinner paying pax? She passive-aggressively said it three times. We feel like hospitality fell short—first impressions matter, and I don’t believe we paid over $800 for poor service. The rest of the crew was fantastic from start to finish though. Activities were fun too.
