Day 1. 8am, drive 2.5 hours to Jianshui Old City, explore and wander around.
Day 2. Take 3-hour car ride to Yuanyang Rice Terracs, view the sunset at Bada Village.
Day 3. View the sunrising at Duyishu Village, and visit the local market. Take 5-hour car ride back to Kunming where the tour concludes.

Kunming to Jianshui Old Town by car

    Today you will be picked up from your centrally located Kunming hotel at 8am, then take 2.5-hour car ride to Jianshui Old Town. The old city was first built back to Yuanhe Period in Tang Dynasty (806~820A.D.). Nowadays there are 135 historic relics in the old city. The Confucius Temple in Jianshui is the second biggest one in China. The local residences houses are well-preserved. Zhu’ Garden is a large scale of local buildings of Qing Dynasty. You will wander around the old town with a local guide to enjoy the history and layout of the city.

    Today you will take 3-hour ride to Yuanyang Rice Terraces, this is a wonderful world heritage by UNESCO. There are different views in different season, particularly in winter and fall. It is nice to view the sunset at Bada Village in Yuanyang Rice Terraces. Then you will be transferred to Duoyishuo Village to check in a nice local guesthouse.
